I have come up with a way to color cool whip without it getting runny or changing the texture of it.
When Baby Bear was turning a year old, I just knew I wanted her to have Cool Whip frosting
on her cupcakes. I just thought it would be so simple and easy. Of course all I have to do is
put a dab of food coloring in the cool whip, and poof the cool whip is colored, right? Wrong.
I discovered that mixing the whip made it runny. Can you believe that? Who knew?
I looked up how to color whip and everything I read said that I would have to make it from scratch and add the coloring during the whipping process. Well that just isn't what I was looking to do at the time.
My sister and I got to work and started playing with the whip one day. Our patience really paid off. And the end product is so adorable.
