Tender and Juicy Homemade Meatballs and Sub


Come cook with me while I make some tender and juicy meatballs to make some meatball subs for me and some spaghetti and meatballs for the cubs. Recipe includes how to make homemade marinara sauce as well as the meatballs.

Ingredients

Marina Sauce:

2 28oz cans of whole peeled tomatoes

5-10 Garlic Cloves Fresh Basil

3 Tbsp Olive Oil

4 Tbsp Wors. Sauce

Salt and Pepper to taste

1/4c. water


Whipped Ricotta:

2c. Whole Ricotta

2 Tbsp Olive Oil S

alt and Pepper to taste


Meatballs:

2 lbs. Ground Beef

1 lb. Sweet Italian Sausage

1/2c. Marina Sauce

1c. Ricotta

3 eggs (1 egg per pound of meat)

1c. Freshly Shredded or Grated Parmesan Cheese

1c. Breadcrumbs

5-10 Garlic Cloves Salt to taste

Olive Oil for browning the meatballs

Bread of choice for Subs and Sliders

Hawaiian Sweet Roll Sliders

Brioche Sliders

Martin's Hoagie Buns

Garlic Bread Slices



Yields 24 3oz sized meatballs
