One evening,
Poppa Bear and I were hanging out. It was 11 p.m. and I was finally going to sit down and get the chance to read over and work on a pattern to use up my scrap yarn. It's a pattern I had been wanting to work on for ages.
I had my pattern beside me that I had just printed out. I had my yarn, my hook, my scissors. I had everything I needed. I was ready to go. I didn't anticipate however, that I was going to have so much trouble concentrating. I began getting super tired, super fast.
I was not following the pattern very well. I thought I was, but my fatigue would get the best of me and I would start all over. I should have just gone to bed and picked it up after getting some rest. Instead, I was being stubborn and did not want to stop until I got the pattern. I Got It!
I went to sleep and when I woke up, I saw my work and read the pattern several times I. I noticed just how far off I was. I decided to be patient. I waited until I was well rested, had no distractions, and had my 12-gallon cup of tea.
Everything opened up for me and I followed it so so much better than before. Then, I ran into one little issue. I was unfamiliar with working on the sides or my work, so I enlisted the help of Dedri. The kind lady who converted the pattern from a knitting pattern, to a crochet pattern.
The tip she gave was so helpful and I was able to continue my work. I even made a video on it for all of the people who needed help following the pattern. Just passing on my knowledge to make it easier for the next person.
